Well, we are convinced that our first angel made an appearance/difference in our life today since my diagnosis. In one day, with the help of this angel (her name is Dani), we got scheduled with an Oncologist that specializes in Lymphoma at the Mayo Clinic for this week Wednesday! How many people do you know can honestly say that they got into see a specialist at the Mayo in one day?? We are heading down to stay with family tomorrow evening, and then will be down in Rochester for my PET scan and bone marrow extraction on Wednesday. We will stay down there until Friday when I should get my results and talk about a treatment plan. We have decided to take our boys with us...their hugs and kisses are the best medicine!
We are feeling that this is our only option as we are looking for nothing but the best, and we believe we will get that at Mayo. We have a long week ahead of us, but I will post again when I know more.
