Bump in the Road

Yesterday was a very tough day for us. Due to the port being placed, one half of my right lung collapsed which landed me in the hospital over night. This was something that I didn't notice right away and we figured it was collapsed since Monday. I am happy to say that I am back home now with my boys getting the T.L.C. that I need!

I want to express my deepfelt appreciation to Gwen, Sarah & Mark and boys, Seija, and Tracey & Danny and boys who made my stay at the hospital more bearable. It was very difficult for me to be away from home last night, but with the help and support from these people, I was confident that everything was getting taken care of so I could focus on getting better.

I also want to thank Jason who had to suffer along side of me during all of this. Without his love, support, kindness, hugs, and smiles I could not have gotten through yesterday! He made sure that I was taken care of in all aspects both emotionally and physically and for this I will be ever grateful! This truly was a birthday I will never forget and one that will remind me that life is precious!

  4. Your strength and positivity continues to amaze me. I know some days it's got to be hard to keep your chin up but you're doing amazing. I might be miles away but I think about you every day and pray just as often! Keep fighting!!

  5. No thanks, necessary, Miranda! But you are very welcome! I am so happy to be able to do just one little thing like that! Most times I feel totally helpless and, as a mother always does, I just want to "fix it all" and knowing I can't is torture! Happy Mother's Day! Granny

  6. Oh Miranda - I'm glad you are doing okay! I hope you had a nice weekend with your boys. I know I am far away but I am so happy to be able to check in to see how you are doing. So much of what you are going through I went through with my mom and I think about you all of the time. Happy Mother's Day!
