Uneventful is not a bad thing

Yesterday I completed my 8th treatment. This treatment was finally very uneventful and was over before we knew it. We were in and out of there in about 3 and a half hours when we usually have been for more like 5 and a half. Jason and I hung out together and watched a movie on my laptop (thanks Centurytel!!) and had a very relaxing afternoon.

Emotionally and physically I am doing very well this time. Through this treatment my only symptom has been an on/off stomach ache which has not been terrible at all. Otherwise I am feeling awesome and am looking forward to celebrating Dylan's upcoming 6th birthday and maybe doing some camping over the weekend.

Thank you again to all who have been thinking about me and praying for me. I can feel the strength and courage that I have been getting from all of the prayers. I couldn't go through this without all of this amazing support I have been getting.

    Glad to hear everything went pretty smooth this treatment. You have been so strong through this whole thing and taken the bumps in the road so smoothly. We have been thinking and praying for you (even the kiddos), we keep Brody updated on Dylan's mommy often. He sure misses Dylan. Hope you get out camping soon and our boys are going to be one year older again. Where does the time go? Stay positive and strong. You are really good at it anyway.

    P.S. My cousin that was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma 6 months ago was just given a clean bill of health after chemotherapy treatments were done. Yeah! God is good. He is looking forward to life normalizing again.
