To my sweet boys...

Dear Dylan and Hayden,
This week marks the week that I leave the both of you for awhile to fight this battle. This has got to be the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my entire life. Even though I know that you are in good hands, they are not my hands, and that breaks my heart like nothing else. I have never been apart from either of you for and this next stage in our journey makes my heart ache so very much.

Please remember that this distance between us now will not keep my love from you and that I believe that this will bring us closer than ever as a family. There will be many days where we are very sad and lonely, but these few weeks apart are nothing compared to a lifetime together. Be strong my two beautiful boys and trust that God will guide us on this journey and make us better people in the end for it. When you get sad, just close your eyes and think of me hugging you and kissing your cheeks and think about all of the fun things that we do together. Before you know it mama will be back home snuggling with the both of you. Love you all the way to the moon and back!

  4. My heart is so very heavy for you Miranda. Your boys have one of the greatest mamma's ever! Your family has such an amazing love that nothing can take that away. You live in your boys hearts so even when you aren't able to be with them physically, they still feel your strong love. You are one of a kind girl! I am so humbled to be able to be apart of this difficult yet amazing journey to health and a lifetime of happiness with all who love you so very much!
Sending you the biggest hug ever!

  5. Your two boys are so lucky to have a mom like you! Your postive attitude and determination will get you all through this. It won't be easy, I'm sure; but, like you said, in the end it will all be worth it when you are back healthy and strong giving them real hugs and kisses. I will be thinking of you every day!!

    Love you lots,
    Heidi

  8. Oh, Miranda, what a beautiful letter to your little guys. My eyes are full of tears reading that. I can't imagine how hard this is for you to be away from your boys, but remember they are in great hands with alot of people that love them very, very much. I have been thinking about you since you left on Sunday and how hard all of this will be for you and your family, but stay strong like you have been, and you will be coming home strong and healthy again!
We will be thinking of you everyday! We are sending lots of prayers and hugs to you. Love you lots, and take care.

  10. Hope this will uplift you during this time away from your boys.

There was a testimony at our church this past Sunday from Monica Harvey...she just recently went through a stem cell transplant and her doctor just told her she is free of cancer!

God is good and he will cover you and your family during this time.

Still praying and in my thoughts!
