This past week, Jason and I enjoyed some time away, just the two of us. The week was filled with many 'blasts from the past' and fun new adventures that we experienced together. We spent some time in Wausau with some dear friends of ours. When Jason and I were first married, we started our life together in Wausau - we have many fond memories of this area and we enjoyed reminising about the 'old days' and enjoyed talking about 'remember when'. We visited our former employers, ate at our favorite restaurants, drove by our house we lived in, ate at our favorite ice cream place, and best of all, spent some much needed time with friends. Thank you Tom and Vicki for your hospitality, and for being a special part of our lives - past, present, and future.
We then ventured South to Door County to Sturgeon Bay. We were heading down to visit with our friends that live down there during the summer and run their fishing charter business. We were so excited to see them and stay with them on their boat as we have not seen them in quite awhile! We enjoyed some wonderful days fishing, shopping, and best of all relaxing on the water. We had such an awesome time and came back with a nice freezer full of salmon! So wonderful to see you Mark and Rita - thank you for so many laughs and memories!
Check out their website at http://www.hourtimecharters.com/ to see what a wonderful business they are running.
While on the lake, the fog moved in...it truly is amazing how you look differently at your surroundings when it changes like this. Check out this picture that I took out on the lake....can you see anything in it??

Awesome pictures!! Good to hear you had such a nice time! TriciaK
