Update

We just wanted to let everyone know that we just got home from Rochester this afternoon.  Jason and I headed down on Sunday for surgery for me on Monday.  My last two scans showed a new spot of cancer on my spleen and after much diliberation with my oncologist team we decided that removing it would be the best option. The surgery went well, and while he was removing it, the surgeon took a 'peek' around inside and said that all else looked good so nothing else was removed.  I am continually amazed at the modern technology and the advances that have happened.  Because of these advances and the technology, I am home now after only being gone two days (and after major surgery)!! - the best healing happens at home!  I will be very sore for awhile yet and will be laying low, but it's sure good to be home with my boys and in my own bed.

We want to especially thank Tammy and her family for helping us keep things moving along at our home while we were gone.  It means more to us to know that our kids are taken very good care of, but then we also know that your family has to sacrafice also to help us.  For this, we will forever be grateful!  We will now hope that I am finally cancer free after this long battle, but in the mean time we will again just get busy living!
