This week I headed to Rochester with Jason for a checkup. As always we cherish the uninterrupted time that we get together on these trips. We get to catch up with each other and reconnect - we always have so much fun! This trip was exceptionally great because we got to visit with some people that we haven't seen for awhile, one being Dani (my angel). Dani was the person that helped me get into Mayo and was by my side with scheduling and my appts until she moved to Hawaii. My appointments went well and everything looks in normal ranges so now I won't need to go back until January.
This appointment made me realize that I am now approaching a year being cancer free. I am feeling so blessed and so happy that I am finally at this point in my journey. I can honestly say that this has been one of the greatest years of my life and I have cherished every bit of it!
