Raingutter Regata and more.....

One of the things that we absolutely love about cub scouts is that we also learn many things!  Until cub scouts, we had no idea what a raingutter regata was, but we can finally say we now know.  The boys were given some materials to build what ends up looking like a sail boat.  Each boy designs their boat in the hopes that theres is the quickest when sailed down a raingutter.  Each boy was not able to touch the boat at all, but were able to use their own steam by blowing on it.

Dylan must have a lot of HOT AIR as he came in third place.  We had a great time playing games, enjoying a potluck, and watching the boys in their races.  It was a beautiful night on Long Lake at Wildwood Haven!!
