We received wonderful news when I got home this evening. My doctor called and left a message...I am going to quote him here as I am at a loss for words from my overwhelming excitement and joy....
"I know that I'm seeing you tomorrow, but I didn't want you to wait another day, I have very good news, you have very minimum uptake under the breast bone and a little bit in the left armpit, but that was all. The rest of your scan shows normal. I was surprised that nothing was left in your spleen as there was a fairly good size lesion in your scan from Mayo. I would say that it is 80-90 percent improved since treatment began and I feel that we are ahead of schedule."
All Jason and I could do after hearing this was hug each other and cry. This much needed news is a reinforcement to our faith in God and believe that our prayers and all of the prayers that we are receiving from all over this country are being answered. We still have a long road ahead of us, but this news will help us in the darkest of days now and know that all that we are going through is not for nothing.......
What great news!!! We are happy that your treatments are doing exactly what they should be doing! You look great in your photos. Hope to see you sometime soon.

I cry tears of joy as I write this! Our prayers have been heard and they have been answered! I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I am for ALL of you (and me and us as a family!) and how much I love you all! It is so hard to see you guys suffer through the tough spots and to not know what to do or to say to help - to want to "fix it all" and to know I can't is torture! This news is SO worth it! Luv u all! Granny
ReplyDeleteMy eyes are welled up with tears and my arms are full of goose bumps!!! What amazing news! Even though I haven't been able to give you lots of physical support face to face, you NEVER leave my thoughts. I just want you to know that nothing is more important right now than taking care of you and your family. My baby and I will be fine without any of the material things that may not be in place upon his/her arrival. I embrace the memories of us when our paths aren't able to cross as often as I wished they would and miss you tons. I'm sorry your ride home sounded like your head was full of thoughts and your mood frustrated. What better way to end your day. I love you woman and am so VERY happy right now for you and your family!
ReplyDeletePraise God. He is GOOD. May you now have the strength go move forward and end the battle with a renewed sense of hope and faith. I pray you will be cured and that God's will be done in your lives. Woop! Woop!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you and your family. This is amazing news. Thinking of you always.
