Successful Hunt!

Jason and Dylan went down to Prentice last night to spend the night in a friends hunting shack and then go turkey hunting in the morning. This is Dylan's first year turkey hunting and has been practicing his turkey calls for weeks now. When they arrived at the shack, they set up the blind, ate snacks, played cards, and just spent time one-on-one time together.

Bright and early at 4:30 a.m. they both got up raring to go to get the big one! Dylan was so excited he jumped out of bed and got ready in a flash. They heard a Tom turkey calling from a distance soon after they sat down. They both called for the turkey for about two hours and it finally came into range when Jason took the bird in one shot. He weighed in at a heafty 23 pounds and had a 9 inch beard. Dylan then helped his dad go and get it.....what precious time they had together and what a nice tradition to begin with our boys.......
