Smoother Sailing..

Today's treatment with the chemo drug that I had a reaction to yesterday went much better. I was pumped full of the drugs to counter act the reaction...don't get me wrong...I was as nervous as I could get when they started that drip, but I didn't feel any reactions at all and it was smooth sailing from there. It took longer than I expected as they really ran the drop slow to make sure all was going to stay ok, but I'm home now with my boys, ate a full supper, and am feeling pretty good. I'm a bit exhausted, but I think it's mostly from the past few days 'activities'...lots of emotional drain.

Thanks to all for the encouragement, prayers, and hugs....your strength that you give me is what holds me vertical most days - xoxo to all!

Would like to be at your benefit on the 17th and hug YOU in person, too! We are all pulling for you to be well soon, and praying that the stem cell transplant will do the job and make you well. We want you home by Christmas!!

  15. Miranda, now you are the 2nd person I know of that's had that rare reaction. My friend got through it, also. Keep up the good fight. Wear some camo to make the statement that you are in a WAR zone with this stuff, and you will not be defeated! i wore my Dad's silk camo scarf from when he was in Korean war, and it made me feel better. And when you can't hang on any longer, remember God can. love ya. sandy
