It was a pretty exhausting day today for all of us. Our day started at 6:00 a.m. and we got to Tammy and Jeff's tonight at about 8:00 p.m.
I met with my doctor this morning and then had a consult with a surgeon for the biopsy...within an hour I was heading to surgery. The nodes in my armpit are far too deep and the surgeon was not comfortable with removing any of them. Since I had one spot in my neck, we decided to take that one out to biopsy. The surgery went just fine and I have very limited pain this evening. I am definatly sore but nothing too terrible.
I don't have any appointments tomorrow so Jason and I will be playing house at Tammy and Jeff's...:) Thank you to all of you for the love and support you are giving us. This has been a very tough week for us and without the loving arms of so many people we wouldn't be able to get through this! Thank you MOST to my 2nd mom, Gwen, for taking such great care of our boys - we love you so much!
Hang in there Miranda...we are all praying for you!
ReplyDeleteGot your text. I just turned on my phone about 2 minutes after you sent the message. Take care and talk with you soon.

Thanks for the update, Miranda. Have a nice "day off" tomorrow and enjoy your time "playing house"! If you didn't receive mail from us before you headed down to Mayo, it should be at your house when you get back. :)

Miranda: Have a good day today! Looking at the 'WHOLE' picture can be very overwhelming and very scary. Try to take each day/stage at a time. I know it is hard but through my experience with many others, it keeps you sane. Love you.
