Last Treatment before Mayo

I had my last treatment this afternoon in Ashland and it went very well. I slept most of the treatment and it felt good to just relax while Jason watched a movie. It's comforting to me to know that he is next to me even though we are not talking. It was a unique day today as I met a lady that had Hogkins's and also had to have a stem cell transplant. She had the same doctor that I have at Mayo. She had a similar situation that I have, but there were also a lot of differences as she had a lot more disease to take care of and seemed to have not very good luck with some stuff. She has now been cancer free for 7 years and has been doing great. :)

The thing that I learned from her was that no matter what your situation is and no matter how bad your cancer is, you can still get through it and come out clean on the other side. It felt good to hug this lady today.

  5. It still amazes me how people come into our lives one day for a single minute and have such a great impact. I feel it is GOD reaching out his hand to offer us strength and hope when we need it most. God Bless!!

  6. God does know us best and gives us what we need, when we need it. You and Jason both find strength and comfort in that through each other. Blessings

  7. I share the same thoughts as the others. God is in control. He knows you, he knows your struggles, he knows his plan for you and Jason. I can see how you both have grown and how you both are changing because of this. I know how I am changing because of this. I also know how my love for you and Jason has grown. You both are special people to me and the rest of my family. We are fighting with you and will do ANYTHING for you. Even if that means picking on you in your nice surgery hat, just to see you smile :-).
