Caregiver Change...

Yesterday Jason was able to come back to Rochester to be with me this week as I continue chemotherapy in the hospital. The unfortunate part of this is that my friend Rita then had to go home. It was an absolute amazing experience to have her here and be a part of this. We laughed and cried together and really formed an even stronger bond between the two of us.

These last few days have not been going down in my 'books' as 'great' days, but they are still days that I am able to get out of bed and appreciate that I am alive! My patience has certainly been tried this week, but I just keep remembering that I will get the strength I need to get through this from God and all of you.

Still trucking.......

  1. I admire your attitude Miranda. I was talking to one of my oncology nurse buddies. She said attitude is EVERYTHING! It's the people with the good attitude that seem to do the best! I realize though that when you feel like 'CRAP' its hard to have a good outlook on things but really bad days give you a frame of reference and when you have better ones they are more appreciated, right?! Miss you...Laura
